To create an account on the TorrensOnline platform, simply click SIGN UP in the top right corner of the screen and enter your details to create an account. Once you have created an account, you are free to explore the courses available to you in the platform to purchase.
Alternatively, you can create an account by selecting a Short Course that you would like to purchase. If you do not have an account when you purchase a course, the platform will prompt you to create an account.
All of your invoices for purchased courses are available to download from the platform. Simply click on your name on the top navigation bar and click My Payments on the dropdown list.
On your Payments page, you can see all your purchased courses. You can export the respective invoices to PDF files by clicking the download symbol on the far right.
If you have forgotten your password when you attempt to sign in, you can reset it by clicking on Forgot your username or password in the prompt provided in the sign up box. You will then be asked to enter your email address linked to your account. Shortly after you do this, you will be sent an email which will include instructions on how to reset your username or password.
Please ensure that you are logging in with your username, not your email address. If you have forgotten your username, you can reset it by clicking on Forgot Your Username in the prompt provided in the sign up box.
Will there be more online learning courses to complete?
Torrens University are in the process of developing a large number of Short Courses to cover a wide range of topics that directly align with current and future industry demands. More Short Courses will be available for purchase as they become ready.
You will instantly be issued a certificate, awarded by Torrens University Australia once you have completed your Online Short Course. You can save, print and even share your certificate on LinkedIn. Access your certificate at any time by clicking on your name on the top banner and selecting ‘My Certificates’ - a list of all your certificates are available there for you to download.
You will be required to complete a short multiple choice knowledge quiz at the end of each short course. You are required to achieve 80% of questions correct in order to pass. But don’t worry – you have unlimited attempts to pass.
The Online Short Courses are comprised mainly of written content which is written in a way that is engaging and easy to understand. Included in the short courses are videos, interactive elements and scenario activities to aid your understanding of the topic.
Woven throughout the short courses are a series of videos of exclusive interviews with industry experts who provide real-life insight into their field of work.
Your Online Short Courses do not expire. Once you have purchased your courses, you have unlimited time to complete them and you can complete them wherever or whenever you wish.
You can exit the course at any time and it will remember your spot. So you can drop in and out of the courses as many times as you wish.
